My first memories of Eleanor, were around age four, watching her play Gin Rummy all together, with my father, his other sisters, and my grandfather (my grandmother would spectate, in her rocking chair.) This was at the house in Wilkes-Barre, P.A. Somehow, she seemed to always win!
It doesn't seem that long ago; I guess time flies...
Even then, as a child, I sensed something special about her. Children are especially perceptive to this sort of thing: some people call it, "an aura."
She was a bright light in the world, and shared a contagious, "giggle."
