Obituary of John Lott
John R. Lott, 66 of Toms River, passed away Thursday, July 2. Born in Newark and raised in Brick, John owned and operated a construction company for 40 years while also working for the Asbury Park Press and Monmouth University. He was an avid fisherman and cyclist and enjoyed being on the water as well as spending time with his children and beloved granddaughter.
John is survived by his son, Jack Lott and daughter, Tara Rider, her husband, Joe, their daughter, Reese, his brother, Robert Lott and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. John was predeceased by his brother, James and sister, Kathleen.
Visitation is held at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting, NJ on Tuesday, July 7 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service is at 9:30 am on Wednesday, July 8 at the same location. Internment follows at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.
