Obituary of Jane Lapsley

Jane M. Lapsley, 87, of Whiting, passed away Monday, January 26, 2015 at AristaCare at Whiting. Jane was born in Rahway and lived there her whole life before she moved to Whiting in 2001. She was a sales associate for Levi Brothers Department Store in Elizabeth. She was a member of the Red Hat Society of Whiting. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Whiting and a Communion assistant, and a member of the church's Altar Guild and Social Ministries. She is survived by her family from Oliver Street, her cousins, Claire, Donna and Bette and many 2nd cousins. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 30th from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 40 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Service will follow at 8:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Rahway Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.
