Obituary of Bernadette Elsammak

Bernadette Renata Elsammak, 43, of Lakehurst, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014 at her mother's home. She was born in Toms River and lived in Manchester before moving to Lakehurst. Bernadette was a certified nursing assistant at Harrogate Nursing Home in Lakewood. She was a member and trustee of the Community Baptist Church in Manchester. Bernadette was predeceased by her father, Willie A. Guthridge in 2006. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Mahmoud Elsammak; three daughters, Laylah A., Akeeiah R. and Jameelah C. Elsammak of Lakehurst; her mother, Virginia D. Watson of Manchester; three brothers, William Guthridge of Arizona, Michael and Jevon Guthridge, both of Manchester and two sisters, Claudia Jackson of Manchester and Carol Hesternicknes. Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 30th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Harmony Ministries, 401 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at Harmony Ministries. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
