Obituary of Suzanne Kessler

Suzanne Kessler, 54, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014. Born in Hackensack, she lived in Pine Bush, NY before moving to Whiting in 1989. Suzanne was an Operating Engineer for Local 825 in New Jersey. She enjoyed vacationing and boating with family and friends in the Adirondacks. She also loved playing with her dogs. Suzanne was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Sanford, Sr. in 1995. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, David Kessler; three children, Ann Zimmerman and her husband, Tim, Donald Sanford, Jr. and Kayla Sanford; two step-sons, David and Richard Kessler, two sisters, Denise Thorp and Debbie Steckler and three grandchildren, Ashlyn, Layla and JD. Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 22nd from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 23rd from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365 and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, New Jersey Chapter, 14 Commerce Drive, Suite 301, Cranford, NJ 07016.
