Obituary of Diane Bassett

Diane C. Basset, 75, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014 at home. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she lived in Wayne, NJ before moving to Whiting 11 years ago. Diane was a permanent member of the Pine Lake Women's Club for more than 20 years. She liked to read. She was a member of the Community Reformed Church in Whiting. She was predeceased by her son, Daniel Bassett in 2011. Diane is survived by her husband of 54 years, Thomas C. Bassett; two sons, Steven Bassett and his wife, Linda of Glenwood, NJ and John Bassett and his wife, Mary of New Brunswick, NJ; one sister, Barbara Rizzuto of Glenwood, NJ and two grandchildren, Kyle and Corey. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 7th at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting with a service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
