Obituary of Vincent Sorrentino

Vincent Andrew Sorrentino, 75, of Whiting, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Bayonne, he lived in Clark before moving to Whiting 14 years ago. Vincent was a skilled trade worker for General Motors Corporation. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran for four years. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Vincent is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia; two sons, Thomas of Kansas City, MO and Vincent and his wife, Janet of Excelsior Springs, MO; one sister, Ange Triack; five grandchildren, Aly Foit, Cayla, James, Vincent and Anthony Sorrentino and six great-grandchildren, Michael Taryn, Devon, Aiden, Grace and Jaxson. A Memorial Mass will be offered Friday, Aug. 1st at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.
