Obituary of Louis DiGioia
Louis James DiGioia, 85, of Whiting, Manchester, died Thursday, May 29, at home. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Howell and Old Bridge before moving to Whiting sixteen years ago.
He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Kathleen Miskell DiGioia, in 2007, as well as two daughters, Christine DiGioia, in 2006 and Mary Frye, in 1996. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Clare and Donald Clipper and Kathleen and Ronald Pascocello; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dominick and Tammy DiGioia and Vincent DiGioia; a son-in-law, Tommy Frye; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Monday at 10:45 a.m. in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
