Obituary of Eleanor DeMilia
Eleanor F. DeMilia, 87, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Fort Lee and Carlstadt before moving to Whiting in 1994. Eleanor was a manicurist at Chez Bobbi in Fort Lee. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Gerard in 2009, her son, Jerry in 2010, three sisters, Viola, Dorothy and Mildred and one brother, Arthur. She is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Joe Proctor, her cherished grandchildren, Patrick, Garret, Jason and Jake and five cherished great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 23rd from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Service will be held at 8 p.m. that evening at the funeral home. Interment will be 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 24th at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to either the American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
