Obituary of Anthony Cicalese
Anthony Cicales, 86, of whiting, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Manchester Manor Nursing Home in Manchester. Born in the Bronx, NY he lived in Flushing Queens, NY before moving to Whiting in 1996. He was a crane operator for PASCAP Company, Inc., Bronx, NY retiring in 1990. Anthony was a member of the Old Guard, Fishing Club and Recycle Newspapers of Cedar Glen Lakes. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a communicant and Usher at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
Anthony was predeceased by five brothers, Vincent, Salvatore, Michael, Edward and Frederick. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Adeline; his son, Anthony Peter and his wife, Lola of Whitestone, NY; his sister, Susan Nero of Tappan, NY and two grandchildren, Christina and Anthony.
Visitation is Tuesday, Dec. 17th from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
