Obituary of Chester Kierzkowski

Chester A. Kierzkowski, 94, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 at home. Born in Erie, PA, he lived in Hyattsville, MD before moving to Whiting 32 years ago. Chester was an administrator for the U.S. Government Printing Office in Washington D.C. for 35 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the V.F.W. in Iselin, Woodbridge Township. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Chester was predeceased by his wife, Claire in 1990 and his brother, John Kierzkowski in 2003. He is survived by his sister, Alexandra Tomaine; one son, Thomas C. Kierzkowski and one daughter, Kathryn M. Osbourn; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 11th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:45 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 12th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting.
