Obituary of Charlotte Palumbo

Charlotte J. Palumbo, 89, of Whiting, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013 at her residence. Born in Grafton, WV, she lived in Northfield, NJ and Red Bank, NJ before moving to Whiting in 1977. Charlotte was a clerical worker with an insurance company and a waitress in several popular restaurants for many years. Charlotte was predeceased by her first husband, Earl Kraft, and her second husband, John A. Palumbo, in 1999 and her brother, Robert Wallace Reese and his wife, Elizabeth. She is survived by her only son, Jerry Kraft and his wife, Susan, of Long Beach, CA, and one brother, Charles Garrett Reese and his wife, Judith. She is also survived by four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. The family will gather on Wednesday, October 16th from 10:30 am to 11 am at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Service lead by Pastor David Rittinger of the Whiting Bible Church will follow at 11 am at the funeral home.
