Obituary of Thomas Smith

Thomas Paul Smith, 90, of Treasure Island, Florida, formerly of Whiting, NJ, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida. Mr. Smith was born in Brooklyn, NY. He lived in Whiting, NJ before moving to Florida. He was a sound and projection engineer for Local 306, New York City, NY. Thomas was a U.S. Army veteran during World War II. He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Margaret E. Smith in 2001. He is survived by his nephew, Anthony Mangeno of Treasure Island, FL. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:45 a.m., Monday, July 8th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetey, Arneytown.
