Obituary of William Erickson

William V. Erickson, 59, of Forked River, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Point Pleasant Borough, he lived in Brick before moving to Forked River 25 years ago. He was a self-employed carpenter and tile specialist. William was a member of the Central Jersey Rifle & Pistol Club of Jackson and the NRA. He was also a member of the Lacey Elks Lodge #2518, the Royal Order of Moose #1907, Lacey Twp. and the Holiday Beach Club of Waretown. He was predeceased by his father, Verner "Sonny" Erickson. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carol Ann Chaney Erickson; his mother, Zora Erickson; two brothers, James and Robert and two sisters, Maryjean Hochberg and Lisa Barman and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service, officiated by Rev. Christina Hindley, will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.
