Obituary of Coralee Johnson
CORALEE NOLTE JOHNSON, 72, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, died in her home in Whiting Station on January 30th. She succumbed to her brief, but brave battle with cancer. After growing up in Westfield, she lived on Hollow Tree Farm, Upper Marlboro, Maryland, and then settled into a family home in Normandy Beach, New Jersey. She moved to Whiting 4 years ago. Ms. Johnson had brief careers as a stewardess for Eastern Airlines, real-estate agent in Maryland, and sales associate in New Jersey, but spent most of her life a devoted mother. She is pre-deceased by her father and mother, Herman & Cora Nolte of Westfield, and survived by her two children, Jennifer Johnson, Malibu Lake, California, and Mark Johnson, Brentwood, Maryland, and step-son, Leonard Johnson IV, Scarsdale, New York. Also surviving are sisters, Marilyn Krauss, Williston, Maryland and Nancy Peters of Cape Canaveral, Florida, and a brother, John Nolte of Morganville, NJ and her special niece, Amy Carickhoff of Malvern, Pennsylvania. Ms. Johnson is further survived by five other nieces and nephews, and three grandchildren. A grave-side service will be held February 11th, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ.
